The drive to SFO is about 25 miles, 30 to 50 minutes depending on 101 traffic. The Marguerite shuttle is free and great around campus, but it doesn't go to the airport — and the Caltrain-plus-BART route takes well over an hour with a transfer at Millbrae.

Can you move a group of 8–10 with luggage?

Can a department or lab pay for a visitor's ride?
Yes. Book with your own contact details, put the visitor's name and number in the notes, and pay online — the visitor just gets the driver's text. Receipts arrive by email for expense reports.
