Why travelers book this route
Yosemite is a four-and-a-half-hour drive from SFO, most of it across the Central Valley and the last hour climbing into the park. It is the kind of distance where the arrangement matters more than the price: one car, one driver, the luggage in the back, and no rental counter at either end of a long-haul flight.

About Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Valley sits at the centre of the park, with the lodges and Curry Village on the valley floor, Wawona and the southern gate an hour down the road, and the Big Oak Flat entrance on Highway 120 the usual way in from the Bay Area. Tioga Road over the high country is closed from autumn to late spring.

How long does it take to get from SFO to Yosemite Valley?
About four and a half hours with the roads clear, over the Bay Bridge, out I-580 and up Highway 120. Winter conditions and holiday traffic add to that; your driver plans for it, and the fare you were quoted doesn't change.

Can you drive us from Yosemite back to SFO?
