Davis is nearly two hours from SFO, over the Bay Bridge and up I-80 past Vacaville — far enough that the trip has to be arranged rather than improvised. About UC Davis
UC Davis sits on the west side of the city of Davis, where the campus and the town run into each other: the residence halls in the Segundo, Tercero and Cuarto areas, the graduate and family apartments south of Russell, the Mondavi Center and the ARC on the edge nearest town, and the Silo and the Quad in the middle.
