Flat rate $285 one way, either direction.

A seven-seat minivan runs a flat $285 one way between SFO and UC Davis — the same price to the airport as from it, no surge, no meter, no per-bag charge. For a larger party or a different car, the premium SUV and the Black SUV are priced in the booking flow, where the exact all-in fare for your vehicle is shown and confirmed before you pay.

The booking flow adds $17 in bridge tolls and the $5.50 SFO airport fee, each shown as its own line: $307.50 all-in for the seven-seat minivan.

Starting from a San Francisco hotel instead? The seven-seat minivan is $285 one way from any address in the city — no airport fee; the bridge toll is measured for your address and shown as its own line. From a hotel elsewhere in the Bay Area, choose it on the form: a published pair prices at once, and anything else is confirmed by a person before you commit.

Pickups between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. add the published night fee, shown as its own line before you pay. Tip is not required.

Why travelers book this route

Davis is nearly two hours from SFO, over the Bay Bridge and up I-80 past Vacaville — far enough that the trip has to be arranged rather than improvised. Rideshare drivers decline two-hour one-ways, and a student landing with a year's luggage is the worst person to be standing at the curb refreshing an app.

The scheduled alternatives all involve a change: a bus or BART into the city or the East Bay, then Amtrak's Capitol Corridor to the Davis depot, then a taxi to campus, with the cases coming off and on each time. One car does the whole thing.

Families booking a first-year move-in, an international student arriving for orientation, or parents coming for graduation book both legs at once — the pickup at SFO, and the ride back to the airport at the end of the quarter, at the same rate.

Your pickup at SFO

Arrivals curb, flight tracked, driver confirmed by text

Book online in about a minute — no account, no app. A person reviews the request and texts back to confirm the ride and the fare; on the day, the driver texts before pickup and again on arrival. Then it is the drive to UC Davis, direct, with no other passengers and no stops.

Add your flight number

We track the flight. A late landing moves your pickup rather than losing it, and there is no waiting fee for flight delays.

Meet at the arrivals curb

Collect your bags and step out to the arrivals curb at your terminal. We text your driver's name, car and plate before you land.

Luggage goes in the car

The driver loads at the curb and unloads at your door. Enter your bag count when you book so the right vehicle comes — the minivan for a family or four large cases.

The way back, curbside

For the ride to your flight home, the driver drops you at the departures level of your terminal, with the pickup time set against your check-in.

About UC Davis

UC Davis sits on the west side of the city of Davis, where the campus and the town run into each other: the residence halls in the Segundo, Tercero and Cuarto areas, the graduate and family apartments south of Russell, the Mondavi Center and the ARC on the edge nearest town, and the Silo and the Quad in the middle.

One published rate covers the campus and the city — the same fare to a residence hall, a student apartment on Anderson, or a hotel on Richards Boulevard. The UC Davis Medical Center is in Sacramento, a further twenty minutes east, and is quoted on its own.

  • Give us the hall, apartment complex or department when you book: the campus is bicycle country and several of the residence areas are reached from their own loop off La Rue or Russell.
  • Move-in and the start of the quarter fill the loading zones. Tell us your slot in the notes and we set the SFO pickup time against it.

The way back

UC Davis to SFO private car service

The return leg books in the same form at the same rate: set the pickup to your residence hall, apartment or department at UC Davis, the drop-off to SFO, and add the flight number — we set the pickup time against the check-in your airline wants, allowing for the traffic on the way, and you review the whole trip before you pay.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to get from SFO to UC Davis?

About an hour and fifty minutes with the roads clear, over the Bay Bridge and up I-80. Commute hours on the bridge and the Vacaville stretch add to that; your driver plans for it, and the fare doesn't change.

Can you pick us up directly at SFO?

Yes. Add your flight number when you book and we track the landing. Collect your bags, step out to the arrivals curb at your terminal, and your driver is there — we text the driver's name, car and plate before you land. There is no waiting fee for a late flight.

How much luggage fits for a move-in?

The seven-seat minivan is the car for this drive: the rear seats fold for a student's boxes, four large cases and the carry-ons fit behind them, and the family still has seats. Enter your bag count when you book and we'll say if anything looks tight.

Is the UC Davis Medical Center the same rate?

No — the medical center is in Sacramento, about twenty minutes east of the campus and outside the published Davis rate. Type the address into the booking form and we confirm that fare personally before you commit.

Is the ride private?

Yes. The car is yours alone, direct from the airport to your address in Davis — no other passengers, no stops. It is a transfer, not a tour.

Can you drive us from Davis back to SFO?

Yes, at the same rate. Choose round trip when you book the ride out and both legs book together, each with its own pickup time and confirmation. Or book the way back on its own: your Davis address as the pickup, SFO as the drop-off, with the flight number so we allow for the bridge.

What is added to the fare?

Nothing. The published fare is the whole price: the SFO airport fee and every bridge toll on the drive are already inside it, so nothing is itemized on top. No meter, no surge, no per-bag charge, no booking fee. A pickup between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. adds the published night fee, shown as its own line before you pay. Tip is not required.
