That's larger than people expect from a campus with a 45 Castro Street address, and it means the side of the block you're dropped on decides how far you walk. The streets around it don't help: narrow, steep in places, lined with permit parking and streetcar tracks near Duboce. Visitors who drive spend far more time than they expect looking for a space, and then walk further than they planned. From SFO it's roughly 14 miles and 25 to 50 minutes, flat $65 each way.

Can you take a patient with limited mobility?
Yes, provided they can transfer into a regular car seat with help. Folding wheelchairs and walkers travel in the trunk at no charge. We don't run lift-equipped vehicles, so a rider who can't leave their chair will need a specialist service.
