Lake Tahoe,both shores, one day
Emerald Bay, Sand Harbor and the drive between them — twelve hours from your door with a driver who handles I-80, the summit and the chain checks. Summer is the easy version; winter we bring chains and shorten the loop.
A plan, not a schedule
Every stop below is a suggestion your driver will happily rearrange from the front seat. Times are what the day looks like when nothing changes — and something usually does.
From $990 per car per day
Extra hours $50, agreed before we run them. Two cars for a bigger group — send an inquiry. Or text (650) 456-9999 and say “Lake Tahoe day”.
One car, one price
Your driver stays with you for the whole block — no re-booking between stops, no waiting for a car in a parking lot, no meter running while you decide.

- Fuel, tolls, parking and driver hours
- Bottled water; child seats on request
- Itinerary changes en route, at no charge
- Meals for your party
- Tasting fees, entry and attraction tickets
- Guided commentary inside venues
- Hours past the listed day — $50–$110 each
- Gratuity, appreciated but never assumed
A lake day, not a ski shuttle
Visitors with one spare day and no interest in a four-hour mountain drive each way, families with kids who will nap in the car, and photographers chasing Emerald Bay light. Ski groups too — the car takes boards and bags, and waits at the lodge.
Winter shortens the loop: chains, weather holds and daylight mean one shore, usually the south. We say so when you book rather than when you arrive.
Overnight beats the day trip
Six hours of driving for six hours at the lake is a fair trade in July and a poor one in January. If you can stay a night, take a flat one-way transfer up and another back instead, and keep the car out of the equation. The day tour is for people who genuinely have one day. Transfers to the lake are quoted by hand — ask for one with your dates.
Do you run this in winter?
Yes, with chains and a shorter loop — and we will move your date free if the summit closes. Ski days work better as a transfer up, a few days on the mountain, a transfer back.
Can we swap in a boat or a tram?
Sure. The Heavenly gondola, a Zephyr Cove cruise or the Palisades tram all fit if we drop a stop. Tickets are yours to buy; we time the day around them.
Nevada side casinos?
Stateline is on the route. If the evening is the point, we can flip the day — lake first, Stateline last, later return. Hours past twelve are $50–$110 each.
Skis, boards, bags?
The minivan swallows four sets with people still in it. Tell us the gear when you book so we send the right car.
Ready when you are
Tell us the date and the party size and we come back with a plan and a fixed price for the car — usually within the hour, any day of the week.
Ten languages by phone, text or WeChat (yakaainc) — and ask for a driver who speaks yours when you book.
