Healdsburg is about an hour and three-quarters from SFO, straight up US-101 through Marin and Santa Rosa. About Healdsburg
Healdsburg is the town at the top of Sonoma County where the Dry Creek, Alexander and Russian River valleys meet — a plaza of hotels, restaurants and tasting rooms, with inns and rentals spread along the river and the vineyard roads out of town.
Santa Rosa is twenty minutes south on 101 and Calistoga forty minutes east over the hills on Highway 128, so a trip that covers both Sonoma and Napa can start from either end.
