Two clinics, two different doors

Spring Fertility runs two San Francisco locations, and knowing which one you're going to matters more here than at most clinics. The Lower Pacific Heights clinic at 1 Daniel Burnham Court, Suite 110C holds the embryology lab — retrievals and transfers happen there. The SOMA clinic at 425 Mission Street, Suite 222 handles monitoring appointments and new patient consultations only.

So a single cycle often means most of your mornings at one address and the procedure days at the other. Tell us which when you book; both are the same flat $65 to or from SFO, because anywhere inside the city is the same city rate.

Getting to the right entrance

Daniel Burnham Court is a short two-way side street between Franklin and Van Ness, and it's where the clinic asks drop-offs to happen — the building also opens onto Van Ness and Post, which is where people get lost. We use the Daniel Burnham Court door unless you say otherwise.

SOMA is trickier. The Mission Street address is entered from Beale Street between Mission and Howard — the orange elevators by the Salesforce Transit Center, up to the second floor. Beale is one-way there, so the approach only works from one direction; drivers who don't know it end up circling the block. We drop at the Beale Street elevators.

7:30am appointments

Both clinics open at 7:30am on weekdays, and monitoring slots go early — which in San Francisco means leaving your hotel before the city has really started. Weekend appointments happen too, but only for procedures.

Those early rides are exactly when app pricing is least predictable and driver availability is thinnest. A booked car is assigned in advance at a fixed fare, both directions, and the driver texts you rather than waiting for you to find a pin. For a run of appointments, send a custom ride inquiry with the dates you have and we'll schedule them together.

Frequently asked questions

Which Spring Fertility location am I going to?

Check your appointment type. Monitoring visits and new consultations are usually SOMA, at 425 Mission Street; egg retrievals and embryo transfers are at 1 Daniel Burnham Court in Lower Pacific Heights, where the lab is. Put the address in the booking and we'll take you to the right one.

How does the SOMA drop-off work?

Via Beale Street, between Mission and Howard — the orange elevators near the Salesforce Transit Center, then the second floor. Beale is one-way on that block, so the driver approaches from the correct end rather than circling.

My appointment is at 7:30am. Do you run that early?

Yes, and early monitoring slots are a large part of what we do for fertility patients. Book the night before, or set up a run of mornings at once — the fare is the same at 6am as at midday.

Is it worth driving myself instead?

The Daniel Burnham Court building has paid parking off Post Street, but the clinic doesn't validate it, and you'd pay it every monitoring morning for two weeks. Most patients find a fixed fare each way simpler, especially on procedure days when you can't drive home anyway.

Parking, entrances and visiting rules change, and we're a car service rather than the hospital. For the current details, see the official Spring Fertility page. We keep this page updated as we learn of changes, but the operator is always the authority.
