Getting to BART at SFO
The BART station is in the International Terminal. Take the free AirTrain Red Line from any terminal.
Trains run approximately every 10-15 minutes. Service hours: weekdays 5 AM – midnight, weekends 6 AM – midnight.
~30 minutes to downtown San Francisco (Powell St or Montgomery St stations).
Fares & Payment
~$10.30 one-way from SFO to Powell St (downtown SF). Fares vary by destination.
Use a Clipper card for faster boarding and discounted fares. Contactless bank cards also accepted at fare gates.
Children under 5 ride free. Senior/disabled discounts available with RTC Clipper card.

Buy or load a Clipper card at the station for the best fares and fastest boarding — no paper ticket needed.
Take the Yellow Line (Antioch) or Red Line (Richmond) for direct service to downtown SF stations.
Heading south? BART goes one stop to Millbrae where you can transfer to Caltrain for San Jose and the Peninsula.
Last trains depart SFO around midnight. Plan ahead if you have a late arrival — rideshare is available 24/7.
