Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Travel SFO ("we", "us") provides private airport rides and traveler information for San Francisco International Airport (SFO), SJC, and OAK. The service is operated by North Brookville LLC, 3133 Frontera Way, Burlingame, CA 94010. This policy explains what information we collect on travelsfo.com, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Booking details — name, email, phone number, pickup and drop-off locations, airport and terminal, flight number, party size, luggage, and any notes you add to a ride.
  • Account information — name, email, and a password, which we store only as a salted hash. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google instead.
  • Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. Full card numbers never reach our servers; we keep the card brand, last four digits, and receipt records.
  • Messages — anything you send us through the contact form, email, or text message.
  • Technical data — a cookie with your language preference, a session cookie when you sign in, and standard server logs (IP address, browser type) kept for security and troubleshooting. Cloudflare Turnstile runs on our forms to block bots.
  • Analytics — we use Umami, a cookieless analytics tool that gives us aggregate page-view counts. It does not identify you and does not follow you to other sites.

3. How We Use Information

We use this information to book and operate your rides — including confirmations, receipts, and pickup updates by email or SMS — to keep your account working, answer your questions, prevent fraud and abuse, improve the site, and meet legal obligations such as tax record-keeping. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. How Information Is Shared

We share information only where the service requires it:

  • Your driver — receives your name, phone number, pickup time and location, and ride notes so they can find you.
  • Service providers — Stripe (payments), Brevo (email and SMS delivery), Cloudflare (hosting and bot protection), Neon (database hosting), Mapbox (maps), Google (optional sign-in), and Umami (analytics). Each receives only what its function needs and handles it under its own privacy policy.
  • Flight lookups — flight status pages are answered from SFO's public flight feed; only the flight number you search is involved.
  • Legal — we may disclose information when required by law, or to protect against fraud or abuse of the service.

5. Cookies & Do Not Track

We set a cookie to remember your language, a session cookie (about 30 days) to keep you signed in, and Cloudflare Turnstile may set a cookie while verifying you are not a bot. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because we do not track visitors across other websites, the site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals — every visitor already gets the same non-tracking behavior. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them, apart from staying signed in and remembering your language.

6. Your Choices

The messages we send are transactional — confirmations, receipts, and updates about rides you booked. We do not send marketing email or SMS unless you explicitly opt in, and you can decline any non-essential communication by replying or contacting us. You can use most of the site, including prices and flight status, without creating an account. If you signed in with Google, you can revoke our access at any time in your Google account settings.

7. Access, Correction & Deletion

You can see your bookings and account details in your dashboard at any time. To access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, email support@travelsfo.com. We respond to requests within 30 days, and we delete data within 30 days of a verified request, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons. If you signed in using a third-party service such as Google, you can also remove our app from your account settings on that platform.

8. Data Retention

We keep booking and payment records as long as needed to provide the service and meet tax and accounting requirements, and account data for as long as your account is active. After that, data is deleted or anonymized.

9. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, card processing is handled by Stripe (a PCI-DSS certified processor), and access to production data is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we protect your information with measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. California Privacy Rights

California residents may ask what categories of personal information we collect and share — they are described in sections 2 and 4 — and may request access, correction, or deletion as described in section 7. We do not sell personal information and do not share it with third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and we will post a notice on the site for material changes.
