SFO to Monterey Bay Aquarium Private Car Service
Private, direct transportation from San Francisco International Airport to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the hotels along Cannery Row, two hours down the coast.
A transfer, not a tour: no stops and no guide — we pick you up at SFO and drive you directly to Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Flat rate $330 one way, either direction.
A seven-seat minivan runs a flat $330 one way between SFO and Monterey Bay Aquarium — the same price to the airport as from it, no surge, no meter, no per-bag charge. For a larger party or a different car, the premium SUV and the Black SUV are priced in the booking flow, where the exact all-in fare for your vehicle is shown and confirmed before you pay.
The booking flow adds the $5.50 SFO airport fee, shown as its own line: $335.50 all-in for the seven-seat minivan.
Starting from a San Francisco hotel instead? The seven-seat minivan is $330 one way from any address in the city — no airport fee; the bridge toll is measured for your address and shown as its own line. From a hotel elsewhere in the Bay Area, choose it on the form: a published pair prices at once, and anything else is confirmed by a person before you commit.
Pickups between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. add the published night fee, shown as its own line before you pay. Tip is not required.

Why travelers book this route
The aquarium is why a great many families come to Monterey at all, and it is two hours from SFO down 101 — a drive that decides the day. Landing at midday and arriving with the car parked and the cases in the room by mid-afternoon is a different holiday from queuing for a rental and finding Cannery Row's parking full.
Cannery Row is a narrow street with the aquarium at the end of it. A private car stops at the door, unloads, and is gone; there is no parking to hunt for, and nothing to move again when you leave.
The ride back to SFO books the same way, at the same rate — a pickup at the hotel, timed to the flight, with the traffic up 101 allowed for.
Arrivals curb, flight tracked, driver confirmed by text
Book online in about a minute — no account, no app. A person reviews the request and texts back to confirm the ride and the fare; on the day, the driver texts before pickup and again on arrival. Then it is the drive to Monterey Bay Aquarium, direct, with no other passengers and no stops.
Add your flight number
We track the flight. A late landing moves your pickup rather than losing it, and there is no waiting fee for flight delays.
Meet at the arrivals curb
Collect your bags and step out to the arrivals curb at your terminal. We text your driver's name, car and plate before you land.
Luggage goes in the car
The driver loads at the curb and unloads at your door. Enter your bag count when you book so the right vehicle comes — the minivan for a family or four large cases.
The way back, curbside
For the ride to your flight home, the driver drops you at the departures level of your terminal, with the pickup time set against your check-in.
About Monterey Bay Aquarium
The aquarium stands at the western end of Cannery Row in the old sardine cannery buildings, with the bay on one side and the hotels and restaurants of the Row on the other. Pacific Grove is around the point, Fisherman's Wharf and the marina are a mile east, and Carmel is twenty minutes south.
One published rate covers Monterey, Pacific Grove, Seaside and Del Rey Oaks, so the fare is the same to the aquarium, to a hotel on Cannery Row, or to a rental up in the town. We drive you there; entry is yours to arrange.
- Cannery Row is one-way and slow at weekends. The driver uses the drop-off end nearest the aquarium, and for a pickup will text you when they are on the street rather than idling at the door.
- Arriving before check-in? Tell us in the notes — the driver can set the cases down at the hotel's desk first and take you on to the Row.

Every class is a flat rate, both directions. Exact fares and seating for your route are shown in the booking flow, confirmed before you pay. The Sprinter is chartered by the hour — see hourly car service.
Monterey Bay Aquarium to SFO private car service
The return leg books in the same form at the same rate: set the pickup to the aquarium's door on Cannery Row, or your hotel beside it, the drop-off to SFO, and add the flight number — we set the pickup time against the check-in your airline wants, allowing for the traffic on the way, and you review the whole trip before you pay.
How long does it take to get from SFO to the aquarium?
About two hours and ten minutes with the roads clear, down 101 and across Highway 156 to the coast. Holiday weekends and the evening commute through San Jose add to that; your driver plans for it, and the fare doesn't change.
Can you pick us up directly at SFO?
Yes. Add your flight number when you book and we track the landing. Collect your bags, step out to the arrivals curb at your terminal, and your driver is there — we text the driver's name, car and plate before you land. There is no waiting fee for a late flight.
Can the car drop us at the aquarium itself?
Yes — the driver takes you to the Cannery Row door and unloads there. If you are staying on the Row, we can stop at the hotel first so the cases are not with you for the day.
Do you sell aquarium entry?
No. We are the ride, not the visit: entry is yours to book with the aquarium, and we time the drive around whatever you have booked. It is a transfer, not a tour — no stops and no guide.
We are a family with car seats and luggage — which car?
The seven-seat minivan is the car for this drive: four large cases and the carry-ons in the back, child seats installed by the driver if you ask for them when booking, and room for the family in between.
Can you drive us from Monterey back to SFO?
Yes, at the same rate. Choose round trip when you book the ride out and both legs book together, each with its own pickup time and confirmation. Or book the way back on its own: your hotel as the pickup, SFO as the drop-off, with the flight number.
What is added to the fare?
Nothing. The published fare is the whole price: the SFO airport fee and every bridge toll on the drive are already inside it, so nothing is itemized on top. No meter, no surge, no per-bag charge, no booking fee. A pickup between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. adds the published night fee, shown as its own line before you pay. Tip is not required.
