Rides built around hospital visits
Many of our regular riders are Stanford patients and their families, flying into SFO for appointments, treatment cycles, or a family member's care. It's a trip where the last thing you want is app roulette: a driver who cancels, a pin dropped on the wrong side of a parking structure, a price that jumped while you were at baggage claim.
We do it differently: the fare is flat and set when you book, the driver texts you directly, and pickup is at a real door — the main entrance of Stanford Health Care on Pasteur Drive, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, the Cancer Center, or whichever building you name. From SFO the drive is about 24 miles, 30 to 50 minutes on US-101.
Booking for a patient who isn't you
A common request: an adult child in another state booking the ride for a parent flying in for treatment. That works exactly as you'd hope — book with your own contact details, put the traveler's name and phone number in the notes, and pay online. The driver texts the traveler directly, and drivers are patient with slow walkers, luggage, and airport confusion. This is a big part of why families choose us over handing a senior an unfamiliar app.
Add the flight number and we track it — if the flight is delayed, the pickup moves with it, and nobody stands at the curb wondering.
Treatment cycles and repeat trips
Patients on recurring schedules — weekly infusions, follow-up scans, post-surgical checks — often book the same route again and again. Each direction is its own flat-rate booking, so the price is the same in week one and week twelve, whatever rideshare demand is doing that day. Families staying near the hospital can also use us for the SFO leg and our hotel guide for places to stay near campus and the medical center.

Frequently asked questions
Where exactly do you pick up at the hospital?
Wherever is easiest for you — the Stanford Health Care main entrance at 500 Pasteur Drive, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, the Cancer Center, or a specific pavilion. Put the building in the pickup field and the driver texts you when they're pulling up.
Can you take a foldable wheelchair or walker?
Yes — foldable wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility aids ride in the trunk at no charge; drivers help load them. We don't currently operate lift-equipped vehicles, so riders need to be able to transfer to a regular seat.
Can I book and pay from out of state for my parent?
Yes. Book online with your card, put your parent's name and phone number in the notes, and the driver will text them directly. You'll get the confirmation and receipt by email.
What if the appointment runs long and we miss the pickup time?
Text or call the number on your confirmation as soon as you know — appointments run long all the time, and we'd much rather move the pickup than have you rush or wait.
